First physical format release of The Opawa 45s 'Silver Screen Guitar'. This album represents the band's initial shift from slow '50s/'60s instrumental guitar work into long-form improvised soundscapes. These tracks were recorded live to 1/4-inch tape in 'The Hut' at the Ilam School of Fine Arts in February 2018.

Another excellent slice of jangle pop goodness from our neighbours across the ditch. The Shifting Sands alt-pop sound is invitingly luscious and texturally rich, consisting of superb fuzzed melodies that happily soothe and excite. Michael Reilly
